I purchased this phone as an upgrade from the Motorola Razr V3, which is the biggest piece of crap ever made. The A717, which I currently own, is the second best phone I have ever used, second only to the Helio Ocean. Yes, it surpasses the iPhone. The internet speed is blazingly fast, nearly three times faster than that of the iPhone. The internet browser works great, as to Facebook Mobile and everything else on the internet. The predictive text is excellent, nearly always guessing the correct word. Of interesting note, swear words are not included in the dictionary on the phone, but are easily added by using the standard tap mode of texting. Battery life is somewhat sporadic, I leave my phone on vibrate, so it frequently runs out of battery. Overall, a great phone.
