Samsung Blast is a Blast!

I recently upgraded my cellphone through my T-Mobile family plan, and after looking at all the options, I decided to go with a Samsung Blast. My previous phone had been a Samsung, and I had very good luck with it, it lasted for three years, so I figured I would stick with a brand I knew.

Let me tell you, I love this phone! It is a sleek, thin, black and red slider-style phone. When you slide the panel up, it reveals a QWERTY keypad inside, which makes texting much faster for me. It has a 1.3 megapixel camera on it which you can use with the phone open or shut, and is also capable of capturing short videos. It does have Bluetooth capabilities, although I personally do not have Bluetooth.

It has the capability of connecting to your email, although beware if you have MSN email (I do) as it's not compatible. You can also instant message by connecting to Yahoo Messenger, AIM, or Windows Live. This is my favorite feature! I can browse the internet as well, and it is pretty fast at loading pages, I must say.

Some of the other features include photo caller ID, vioce notes, games, wallpaper, an alarm clock (which actually wakes me up!!), a calculator, detailed phone book, tip calculator, and much, much more.

As far as durability, it has so far survived being dropped on the pavement and being chewed on by a four month old, and so far, no problems! LOL

My only major issue with the Blast is its reception. I have been in places where my husband's and daughter's phones (also Samsungs) have reception, but I have no bars. I also have a lot more dropped calls with the Blast, but it's still not very often. The battery also seems to wear out much more quickly then my other phones have, so investing in a car charger might be a good idea.

Overall, like the title says, my Blast is a blast!! Definitely the most fun phone I've owned!
