I purchased the Samsung D820 cellphone new through a seller on Ebay. The overall design and sleek appearance of the phone is what attracted me to it despite a few technical shortcomings. After having used the phone for over a year, I feel that it is at best a satisfactory phone, although very handsome. The interface for music playback is rather clumsy and sluggish slong with the file manager system which in opinion is grossly lacking. However, the advantages of this phone are clear. The video recording is superior to most other phones in its class, even sony ericssons, although camera quality is worse. As well, there is a TV out option, microsd expansion slot, high res screen and an image editor. The build quality is only satisfactor as about 7 months after purchase the slider mechanism became noticeable sluggish. Overall this was a decent buy but not one which I would repeat.
