Samsung Digital Video Camera Junk By TexasTink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this digital video camera during one of the Black Fridays at Target. We've had nothing but problems with it ever since. After only a few months, the LCD screen went out, we called Samsung and they sent us to a local repair shop that worked with their warranty. We still had to shell out labor fees of $75. Then another 2-3 months later the screen started to show lines on it again. Samsung told me to take it back to the shop, where they repaired it again. Ever since we first got the camera it has been eating our tapes. It will just spit them right out in the middle of filming. Now it eats any tape, even brand new ones. Although it has tons of special effects and features, the sound and picture quality have never been that good. I've called Samsung several times and they just keep referring me to the warranty shop. I can never even get a live person on the phone. I don't recommend this camera for anyone and regret my purchase greatly.
