Samsung LNT 4065 40 inch HDTV LCD TV

I bought the Samsung LNT 4065 40 inch LCD HDTV for my husband for Christmas. Our old TV had started to go so we neded a new one. We decided an LCD was good for our home because we have french doors and windows that let in a lot of light. A Plasma might reflect too much light. After reading a lot of reviews and looking at many TV's in places like Best Buy and Circut City, we decided to go with a Samsung. They always looked the best when compared side by side with other TV's. We are very happy we did. The free delivery from Amazon/Eagle Shipping was great. They brought it upstairs and helped to hook it up. It was a simple 5-10 minute hook up. The HDTV channals look wonderful as do DVD's. With an HD DVD player the quality is amazing! The TV is 1080p so the best pixals you can but righ now. The contrast ratio is 15,000 to 1 very high for a 40 inch TV. The sound is good and the TV looks beautiful even when it is off. We love the black casing. My parents have a silver Sony and the silver color is very distracting. Try a Samsung LCD you will be happy! The price is right on Amazon too!
