This was my first purchase of a digital camcorder. The Samsung Mini DV SC-D363 Digital Camcorder is a really good product in my opinion. The Samsung Mini DV Camcorder is not the smallest camera there is, but it is still pretty small. It fits really comfortable in your hands. The battery life is ok. You can get about an hour out of the battery. I would suggest buying an extra battery on ebay. The batteries for it are not very expensive. You can either use a traditional Mini DV tape or you can insert a SD memory car. The only major problem with the camera is with the codecs. It was difficult to transfer video to your computer, unless you stream it through Windows Media Player. Overall, I have really enjoyed this camera. I have used it for both personal projects and business projects. So if you are looking for a good camera that is cheap, I would definitely recommend the Samsung Mini DV SC-D363 Digital Camcorder.
