Samsung Sync Master 220wm By digbybare on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought this monitor at Best Buy on black friday. I was originally going to go for an Envision monitor of similar specs for $150, but decided on this because I have heard good things about Samsung, and haven't heard of Envision.

The screen size is fantastic. I can't really imagine ever needing more than 22" for a computer monitor. The resolution seems like it could be higher, as I have a 14" monitor which can do 1400" x 1050". However, 1680" x 1050" should probably be fine for anything I'll need it for.

It was very easy to set up. It has an Auto setup feature which will adjust the Contrast, Sharpness, Brightness, etc. for you. I found I could use this monitor just by plug and play, but it comes with a driver CD if you need it.

The viewing angle is also pretty wide horizontally, and slightly less vertically, and again, should be fine for most anything.
