Samurai Legend: Musashi By Shawn on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Samurai Legend: Musashi is the second release in the Musashi series by Square Enix and sadly isn't the better of the two. While the former released for the PlayStation was full of humor and contained a cute storyline, Samurai Legend: Musashi is filled with horrid voice actor and somewhat unresponsive controls. The game progresses at a lackadaisical rate at best and never really pulls the player into the storyline as an RPG should.

As with the first game you'll be dealing with numerous elements that need to be used in particular places to advance through the game. However, rather than altering one sword, you'll amass a collection. The game's controls feel off-handed most of the time and the camera has a habit of going out of whack and making things more difficult than they truly should be.

Samurai Legend: Musashi is something can be enjoyed by someone with patience to look upon the game's bright spots, but otherwise you're better served picking up something else.
