The SanDisk Micromate is a very small and surprisingly good looking SD Card reader. It holds juse a single type of card, the SD, which is the only bad thing. It is very small and can fit easily in a pocket and you won't even feel it, or can be thrown in a camera bag no matter what size. The USB port has a protective cap that is snapped off, and the SD card is inserted on the opposite side of it. Unfortunatly, the SD Card is only about halfway into the card reader. If it was able to go all the way in, it would be just like a jump drive by being able to keep it in there and use it all the time.
I really do like this Card Reader, I have had some before but they were slow or didn't work or something was wrong with them. These are very easy to get at a low, low price on eBay and are worthy of being used by anybody who needs an SD Card reader.

This sounds very handy for this particular application. I think when I get one it will be a universal reader though.
It is nice to have some good card readers if you have the habit of carrying cameras along...... the one you are mentioning sounds good.
