Sanford Sharpie Fine Point Marker By Baseline on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The classic sharpie black marker is probably the most well-known marker out there. I picked one of these up primarily for marking things like CD's and shipping boxes after buying a cheaper off-brand marker and having it dry out after about a day of use. No more problems like that with my sharpie!

One thing about it though, is that even though it says fine point, it's not really that fine. I'd moreso call it almost a medium. If you're looking to write on smaller things like CD's or very small labels, you probably will want to find something else, or maybe a "very fine" variant of the sharpie if they make it. Maybe you could pull it off if you write very very lightly with this marker to make the writing come out fine.

Either way, for all of your other heavy-duty daily marking needs, this will probably do the job.
