Sangria with Strawberries in the winter...yum!
By fudgepineapples onI assume by the name that this Isle of Eden scrub is supposed to smell like sangria. And remarkably, it does a little. It has that strange booziness that you encounter in cheap sangria. I Think that a lot of people would find this scent odd, but that scent reminds me of my summer I spent in Spain, drinking cheap wine on the patios. Because of this memory link, I like this scent. Besides that, this has nothing special in it. The strawberry scent is kind of overpowering, and blocks out any other scents that could be present. Occasionally, I get a hint of vanilla, but that might be just my imagination, searching for other scents.
I don't think I would actually use this scrub in the summer. Since it is the middle of winter and we have about 3 feet of snow, it's a great reminder of the heat of Spain. But in the summer, it might just make me smell like cheap wine.
