Sanitary Green Balm For Muscle Pain By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

When I suffered from muscle pains because of exercise, my mother gave me a small tub (10g) of this Sanitary Green Balm. It is made of methyl salicylate, menthol, and camphor. It is to be applied liberally on the painful area and massage. My mother and father both swear that this works on them. A neighbor also recommended it to them and she, too, also believe in this product.

But when I used it, I felt nothing at all. I didn't even feel the menthol relaxing me. It is like I just applied an icky substance on my skin. Really it is sooo icky and sticky. It is worse than Vicks. I like Vicks, and it is not so icky. This one is bad, and worse, it did nothing to relieve me or soothe my sore muscles.

I never used it again. Although it is cheap, at 40 cents per tub I think, it does not work for me, so it does not matter. Maybe for some people, it does, because my parents and my neighbor still continue to use it. But not me. It is available in most drugstors and Chinese drugstores.

I will just use other products
