Santa Ana Zoo By living4fire on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

The Santa Ana Zoo is a small Zoo located in a city near Los Angeles, California. It houses many monkeys mostly, along with llamas, porcupines, and more. It is a very small zoo but was quite entertaining. One thing I do remember is that they dont take Credit Cards for admission, however they do have an ATM available (but who wants to pay ATM fees). So make sure you have cash readily available when entering the park. They did have some animals but not the wide variety I would like to see (snakes, bears, large cats, etc.), as mentioned it was fun though. This zoo seems more children oriented, they have a kids play area and such and other kids activites as shown at the begining of the video. I would go here again and wouldnt be afraid to recommend this to others. We had a great experience at the Zoo.

The red bird in the video is a scarlet ibis. I am glad there are no bears or large cats in the zoo. It is not good to keep those big wild animals in captivitiy.
