The Santa Clause is rated PG. There are a few crude moments in this movie. I believe that this movie is still good for all ages. A little boy believes in Santa Clause, but his father, played by the very comical award winning Tim Allen, does not believe. On Christmas Eve, Santa lands on the family's roof, and the little boy hears it and wakes up his father. They go onto the roof not, the father not believing, and accidentally knock Santa off the roof. Santa disappears, and the father suddenly starts having Santa-like symptoms, and then turns into Santa. Finally, the movie ends with Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) accepting that he's Santa, and all the people who thought he was crazy believe him too. I believe that it is a family movie, and may be perhaps something to watch around the Christmas holidays to get everyone in the spirits. This movie has a happy ending, and is in a series. It is followed by the movie Santa Clause 2.
