Santa Cruise By Carol And Mary Higgins Clark By Karen on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Mother and daughter wrote this book together, and it features Regan and Jack Reilly on a Santa Cruise.

A special cruise for those who have done good deeds and helped others is called the Santa Cruise, taking place the day after Christmas. Newly married Regan and Jack are in attendance, along with Regan's parents, Nora and Luke. They are all guests of amateur detective Alvirah Meehan and her husband, Willy. There are also ten Santas on board to give a little holiday cheer. Commodore Weed, owner of the cruise ship, is hoping that this cruise for people who have done good for others will make the maiden voyage of his ship a very big news item and a boon to his cruise business. But some odd things are happening on The Royal Mermaid, and the cruise is featured on the news for all of the wrong reasons. Mysteries abound, and Regan and Jack, along with Alvirah, are in the thick of it.

I found Santa Cruise an entertaining book, more of a fun read than anything else. Regan and Jack are a very likable couple, and the other characters in the book are enjoyable as well. If you are looking for some lighthearted reading, hop on board the Santa Cruise for a fun voyage.
