Sanyo Vizon Hd Television By Sixfalls on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I purchased the Sanyo Vizon 32" Widescreen HDTV from Walmart. This was my first HDTV purchase. I had seen them in the store, but did not realize what a big difference there was was until I compared it to my 12 year old TV.

This TV is not an LCD, it is a standard television. I wish I would have waited to purchase an LCD as I see the prices of those are dropping quickly. I am not disatisfied with the product, its just the size and weight are a bit much. I think an LCD would have been easier to accomodate.

The picture quality is very good, both in HD and in standard broadcast. The picture is bright and colors seem to be a lot closer than our older Sanyo. I can't say much about the remote control as we use the cable remote for most functions.

The sound quality is excellent. I notice a big difference when we are on the HD channels.

If size and weight are not a factor, this is an excellent TV. If they are, they also make this in an LCD.
