My husband's favorite dress shirt these days is Geoffrey Beene's Sateen. The color of this one is blue frost, and it has a slightly shiny look to it. It is so much dressier than other plain shirts. The fabric is 55% cotton and 45% polyester, which makes washing it a breeze, and it comes out wrinkle-free. I used to make the mistake of getting all-cotton dress shirts. They never washed nicely, so now I only get polyester-cotton blends, and have not been disappointed.

My husband has gorgeous blue eyes, and this shirt really compliments the color of them. He is an attorney, and needs to look professional and neat every day, so this is a great look for him. We are both always on the lookout for these Sateen shirts in any color, as they are terrific. The style and workmanship are excellent. The Sateen adds just a little more class, and looks good with or without a jacket.

I got this shirt for him for his birthday, and he was very pleased. This would make a great gift for any professional.
