Satellite Dish Oval
By DeDee onStar choice satellite dish is a good one. You can purchase it through star choice or better yet on an online classified. Or even your local newspaper you may find a used one.
The one think I really like about this dish is that I don't need to worry about spraying it with Pam to keep the snow from sticking to it. I don't know why I just don't. However this dish does go out during heavy rain storms as almost all dishes do. We also have a lot of trees around us and we have no problem with the signal.
If you buy a used one of these dishes and install it your self or have a friend to do it. Star Choice will knock of money to your bill. Just because they don't have to come out to install it. We got $100.00 off our bill. which turned out to be two and a bit months of free satellite .
This dish was easy to get a signal even though we where told it would be difficult. One other thing I want to mention is make sure that if you do buy used that there is no money owing on the dish you buy. If you purchase the channel box with it.
I have never heard of this one, we had so much troble with Direct, but I think it is just where we live though. Everytime it would rain or the wind would blow we would lose signal. :(
