Saturn Is Not Just A Planet By Ethox on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Boy was I excited to try out my new 1998 saturn sl1 when my parents brought it home for my 17th birthday. I had visions of rolling down the highway blasting "welcome to the jungle" by The guns and roses. Sadly I was mistaken, on my initial drive of the car I had already noticed an extremly annoying rattle that plaqued the front dash. Constantly during my drive I would hear plastic beat against plastic. I marked this down as a design flaw that wouldnt effect performance so I moved on. Not a month after I had the car problems started to arise the car hardly started and took many cranks to get it rolling, and the transmission started slipping at a measly 60,000 miles. The transmission finally got so bad that I had to let my saturn go into the parking lot in the sky. Overall Im glad I dont drive it anymore.
