Sauder Entertainment Stand

My husband has been wanting a new TV (can we say the big MSU gameis tomorrow and the Masters golf tournament next week).We finally found THEone and until we move somewhere where we have the right wall to hang it on wealso needed a TV stand.We wanted something in a wood tone instead of themodern glass looking stands that we kept seeing all over.
We ended up going back to Furniture Outfitters where we had bought severalSauder pieces.You need to put them together unless you want to pay a lot tohave the store do it.My hubby is handy with putting things together thatconsist of a lot of parts and what seems like a pile of a few hundred screws, a lot ofsweating and a lot more mumbling.
What we ended up getting was this Sauder Entertainment Stand from the RoseValley Collection.It is done in the old Mission style furniture in abeautiful oak finish.It goes well with our other casual furniture that we havein our family room.It is built to hold a TV that weighs less than 95 lbs. and hastwo adjustable shelves to hold our audio and video equipment.We had 3 units soit was a perfect fit as you can see from the picture.Next to the open shelvesis another storage area behind a framed panel door with a faux leaded windowmade of tempered glass.Inside this storagesection there is an adjustable shelf where we can store DVD's, books,or afigurine of an Aussie we had.A craftsmen style ring which opens the door along with detailed wood construction on the sidemakes this TV stand very unique.
The overall size of this TV stand is 35-3/8" W x 18-7/8"D x 26-3/4"H.Itfits perfectly in a corner of the room even though it is not a corner piece.The new TV looks great and hubby is very happy with how well everything lookstogether.Happy Birthday, dear!
