This book is so good! It is the first book in a Savage Ecstacy series of about ten books by Janelle Taylor. If you like a good romance novel, then she is a fantastic author that has a way of bringing to life her novels in a way that not only makes you feel as if you are part of the story but makes you just want to read more.

This book is about Alisha Williams, an innocent girl who travels west with her family in search of a better life, only to have to come to grips with the harsh reality of life, not only among her own people, but also among the Oglala Indians. It is also the story of Grey Eagle, the intrepid Oglala warrior and son of a chief and his struggle to maintain his leadership and respect in his people's eyes as he falls deeper in love with Alisha Williams following his capture of her and destruction of her people.

Not only is this book an amazing love story between Alisha and Grey Eagle, but it also gives an amazing depiction of life in Indian culture and the combination of two different worlds, white & Indian.
