I am an advocate of savings. I have also realized and take advantage of diversifying. I make sure not all of my money is placed in one account. As such, I have several savings at accounts around the country.
In 2006, I discovered ING Direct. I was impressed when I received an email regarding the interest rate I would be offered to establish an account. Now, being that money is hard to come by and I just do not like to give my money away, I decided to do a little research.
Let me caution you, never accept an offer from the email sent. There are scam artist out there whose jobs are to separate you from your money. And, they are good at it. So, if you receive an email from even what looks like a reputable site, do not respond to that email Contact the company by phone. Inform them of your offer and if legitimate, request the paperwork mailed to you.
ING Direct is one of the best. I have a very good interest rate that is guaranteed. I have my money working for me and I am quite satisfied with the rate of accrual.

Never heard of this company, good to know though & I totally agree with not responding to emails mailed to you & contact the company directly about any information received before advancing with any type of transaction.
