Save Your Glasses By BillF on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I play basketball and need my glasses to see. At 6 feet 4 inches tall, I usually play center or power forward and am quite often elbowed or fouled in the paint. A Eyeglass strap designed for basketball or other rough sports were readily available in my youth but has become scarce lately. I checked out my local Walmart and Kmart and even some drug stores or other opticians. Of course I use a old pair of glasses to play basketball these days but without a strap to hold them on my head they would not last a season of rough and tumble play. Instead of the strap and a old pair of glasses, I could wear googles glasses but they cost about $200 and look wierd and that is a lot to take for a weekend warrior. This model I find especially effective in easily expanding and retaining the glasses through numerous elblows to the head. It comes in multiple colors like black, blue, red, green, pink. Also, in It comes in adult and child size.
