Saved over half on house insurance!

Purchased a new home four years ago and insured with my previous Carrier for $350,000.00 full coverage. Our payment was $1350.00 per year!Contacted a local American National Agent and was quoted $750.00 per year for the exact same coverage. Several months after switching carriers, I recieved a check for $225.00 along with a letter, that stated our policy had been reviewed and our insurance had been REDUCED! Ask about their no claim rebate plans. Please note, filed for a stolen vehicle, which was recovered-AN paid for damages. I am on my third agent in four years. Seems to be a lot of turnover. Worth checking out.

Update On Nov 21, 2008: 22 year old was in accident on Friday...she is OK. Insurance did respond promptly, however now I start over on my rebate "Cash Back" program. I will let you know how this all turns out. Thanks for reading, jj
