After having my electric bill go from $75.00 a month to $130.00 a month I told my husband we needed to find ways to save energy. We went to Wal-Mart and bought some energy efficient light bulbs, they were more expensive than regular light bulbs but promised to save electricity and last for up to three years.
We went home and replaced twelve of our 75 watt regular light bulbs with the energy efficient 20 watt, which is equal to a 75 watt bulb. We did nothing else for the month to see what kind of savings we would have. For the total $28.00 that we spent, we saved $36.58. That wasn't too bad for the first month, so we didn't do anything for the next month and saw the same kind of electric bill. These light bulbs will not only save you money, but they will also save the environment! I would recommend these light bulbs to everyone that either has to pay for an electric bill or wants to save the environment!

I wish everyone would switch to these bulbs. I love the greenergy and fact they outlast ordinary bulbs by 3-5 years:)
We use some CFL bulbs and love the fact that they save money and help the environment. The problem that I have with them is that they do contain mercury and not everyone who uses them knows how to dispose of them properly... plus they do not work with dimmer switches and some light fixtures... if they could eliminate the mercury and make them more multi-functional that is all that we would use.
I love these light bulbs . We have almost replaced every light bulb and we have noticed a difference in out bill. Thanks for sharing.
