Saving Money on Bottled Water

I have officially purchased my second Brita faucet filtration system. When we originally chose the filter we weighed our options. Bottled water was expensive & the kids never drink the whole thing. In our new home we do not have a water system in the refrigerator, so it was either the faucet fixture or the plastic Brita jug in the refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the water. I also thought I would not like the look of a bulky filter attachement on my faucet, but it really was never a problem.

The only misguidance we recieved on the our first purchase in Feb of this year, was that the box stated 'Lasts for up to one year". It only lasted 7 months in a household of 3. In our lastest repurchase (to replace the 7 monther) we noticed the box no longer makes that claim & they have added advanced features that include a sprayer option on the faucet attachment! Nice. I also feel good about this purchase because it had a $10 mail-in rebate. All well worth the $34.99 price.
