This was a purchase I made in a rushed trip to Wal-Mart. We were getting ready to go to my moms house in Ala. I was getting our son and my-self a change of clothes to take with us . We were going swimming and having a family reunion, it was hot weather and I could not find him any socks that did not come to his knees. Not very good with shorts, so here I go to Wal-mart . I pretty much bought the first pack I came to that was appropriate size and style I had in mind. Much to my surprise there not bad socks a little thick for my own taste, but he likes them. They are sewn well at the toe no ravelling or loose strings . They a small ribbed band around the ankle. They have a snug, but not tight fit. They are heal and toe socks so he has an easy time telling if he has the on correctly. They are classic white cotton . I did go at a later date and purchase another pack . I would highly recommend this product to any one that needs a quality pair of (ankle socks) at a good price.
