Our multi-functional machine, Brother MFC-260C, is very useful for school and business purposes. One way of keeping family's important documents is through scanning it and save it on our 320G portable hard disk. It goes too on my business important documents.

Upon installing the machine's software, wife and I started scanning our important documents for record and safe keeping. In case we loss or misplace it, we still have the duBrplicate copy with us and re-applying for an original document again will be a bit easy because we have the scanned copy. Even my business documents are safe. Aside from having a duplicate of it of course safe keeping is very important and that is how this scanner helps me.

The process is very simple. When the software is installed already on my PC, I just click its icon, click the scan button, after the machine scans it I can save it now to my PC under JPEG extension. Aside from safe keeping, I can transmit through email my scanned documents and even pictures if there's a need.
