Mederma is "The Leader in Scar Management". I wouldn't dispute that statement, but unfortunately, it isn't as easy as applying it to a scar & watching it disappear. This cream comes in a very small bottle, (1.76 oz. to be exact) but it takes up to 8 weeks to completely erase a new scar, & 3-6 months to get rid of an old one, meaning that you have to purchase a couple of bottles to get the full effect. It needs to be applied 3-4 times a day, which is also a pain. BUT, it really works! I've been using it for about a week trying to get rid of a nasty scar on my ankle, & already I can see a significant difference. It also works for stretch marks, which is a miracle in itself. It smells pretty gross, but I don't know who smells their scars anyway, so it's probably alright. I would reccomend this scar removal gel only if you're dedicated to apply it 3-4 times a day, or else you wont get the results you're looking for, therefore wasting your money.
