My family loves to gather around and play board games. There are a lot of tweens in our family who love to play along with us, yet get frustrated at not knowing a lot of the answers to trivia based games. They're too young to know about JFK, the Clinton/Lewinsky Scandal, or the "Rocky" movies. We enjoy DVD games because they incorporate a fun, multimedia experience unlike Monopoly. On Black Friday 2007, I saw that WalMart had the Scene It, Jr. for only $10.00 so I bought it. It was a great purchase.

Being adults, we watch kid movies too (gotta love Meet the Robinsons and Rataouille). I can safely say that the Scene It, Jr. game is great for adults and children. The questions are recognizable enough for children to be easy, yet also challenging because they may have to recall specific scenes or characters. Since the game is geared towards children, there is no need to worry about age appropriateness or whether it's too hard/easy. It's a fun, affordable game that the whole family can enjoy!
