I have been shaving my legs for going on 16 years. I actually have kind of an obsession with it, as I make it a point to shave my legs every day. I can't stand having prickly legs. So it's important to me to have a razor that does a good job and doesn't irritate my skin. I have tried almost every brand of disposable and refillable razors on the market. Most left razor burn and didn't do a great job of removing the hair. I actually received my Schick Quattro for Women as a "freebie" from the company. Pretty genius on their part, because they do charge a lot for the razor blade refills, so that's where they're making their money off you once you're hooked. Anyway, I fell in love with the razor. It has a heavy, durable feel to it, like a man's razor. I used to love the way my husband's razor felt in my hand when I would steal his to shave with. I can tell it is a quality made razor. It has a rubber grip in the handle as well. The blades do a fantastic job of removing the hair. There are 4 blades and they have a moisture strip with aloe and vitamin E. With shaving every day, I use a blade for a week. I could probably get longer out of one blade, but I can tell when I'm not getting as close of a shave anymore, and once I put in a fresh blade I can tell the difference. Once when we were camping I forgot my Schick and I had to use a cheap disposable razor. Ouch! I remember why I love my usual razor so much.
