Schrock Handcrafted Cabinetry

My husband has put in kitchen cabinets in our newly built house by Schrock Handcrafted Cabinetry. He had bought it an Menards, using some huge discount that allowed us to purchase about $50,000 worth of cabinets for only $13,000. These cabinets are available in many different kinds of wood; we chose Maple, Natural, since we both prefer lighter shades. The cabinets come all done & finished, ready to install - no staining, polishing, or assembling. My husband installed them himself, which was a little time consuming, mostly due to the volume of work, but not very hard.

The kitchen cabinets look very neat and stylish. I have more drawers and compartments that I can presently fill! :) I love the design, and I like the convenience of having drawers made specifically for pots & pans, cooking sheets & pizza stone, etc. Lazy Susan is one of my favorite and most often used parts of this cabinetry, its rotating feature makes reaching any item I need easy.

We are very pleased with Schrock's cabinetry, it was a good purchase.

Update On Apr 17, 2008: My husband has pointed out that he did encounter some minor problems during installation. He had to correct two mistakes made by the manufacturer, one required shaving off half an inch from one cabinet to make them fit nicely.
