Reviewing: Schwinn 6'' Combo Cable Bike Lock
Purchased at: Target     Price: $14.00 USD

I recently had to replace my bike lock and I noticed Target was having a sale on all their Schwinn accessories.I found a 6'' cable lock that opens from a combination you are able to set yourself. So far I have been pretty happy witht he lock.

The lock comes with a mounting bracket that you are supposed to be able to mount to either the frame of your bike or your seat.I tried mounting this and when mounted, it moved around too much, thus it was not a good idea to have it mounted.I then simply wraped it around my seat and that has been a fine place to store it.

The lock itself is pretty basic in construction.I know it is not as effective of a theft deterrent as more expensive locks, but it should serve my purpose. It is my theory that if someone really want to steal your bike, they will do so.A lock, any lock will make them think twice about taking your over one that is not secured at all.

I like the cable lock more than a U shaped lock, because I can secure more than one bike and even the bike trailer I have to pull my daughter. The length of the lock comes in handy.

This is a decent lock for the money. It is not a top of the line lock by any means, but I thing...and hope it will do the job.

Yes, cable locks are better most of the times. Because it secures well and even can be used to lock more than one bike. Well written.
