Schwinn Frontier Sport X Mountain Bike
By allie63078 onI bought this bike thinking that it would be fun to ride every now & then for exercise.I loved the look of this bike the first time I saw it and knowing that Schwinn is a good brand, I took the plunge and spent the money to get it.
The seat that comes on the bike wasn't very comfortable, so I bought another seat and had them install it on the bike before I ever left the shop.
This bike rides pretty well and its shock absorbing capability is pretty good.It has 12 different speeds and it really easy once you learn how to transfer between gears for different types of terrains.
This bike will rust very easily if left out in the elements, so be sure to keep in protected inside a garage or covered up, but other than that, it is a nice bike for riding.
Schwinns are such great bikes!! That is so nice that they installed the bike seat that you bought-that's great customer service!!

Sounds like a nice bike. Don't know why they don't make the seats more comfortable.
Ohhh.. the dreaded bike seat! My biggest complaint with bicycles! Other than that, I love bike riding, however, mine is more for pleasure than exercise.
