Scooby Doo In Where's My Mummy? 2005 By John Gugie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Velma is in Egypt working with Prince Omar when the gang visits her only to see that the Nile river has dried up. Amelia von Butch breaks into Cleopatra's tomb, which causes the curse of Cleo to pass and her dead army to awaken. Scooby and Shaggy discover a secret society that lives like ancient Egyptian ways and worships Pharaoh Scoobis.

The highlight is the voice talent. Frank Welker voices Fred Jones and Scooby-Doo. Casey Kasem voices Shaggy. The guest stars are terrific! Ron Perlman voices Hotep, Virginia Madsen voices Cleopatra, and Ajay Naidu voices Prince Omar.

The artwork is very vibrant. Best of all, all of the original characters look like they always have.

The music is good to not so good. The original Scooby theme song is good but the rest of the songs are weird mix of Egyptian sounds and rap, which seem out place.

The DVD has several extras including, National Geographic's Scooby Doo: The Curse of the Lost Lunch, Mummy Rap Music Video, Mystery Voices, Escape from the Ankh Chamber Challenge, and trailers.

If you're a Scooby fan or want to keep kids busy for 75 minutes, this is a good choice. Screen it before allowing young kids to view it.
