Scooter Store Power Chair
By Becky Knouff onI suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and have been in a wheelchair for 4 years now.My doctor and I tried for a for very long time to get a company to order me a power wheelchair. We could find none; Until we found out about the Scooter Store.Other companies had long drawn out processes which would take forever to tackle. We fought for 2 years to get me a power chair.
Through the Scooter Store, I was able to get a power chair, and I can now get around.I was not a candidate for a regular scooter because of the lack of control over my legs.
The Jet 3 Ultra is my vehicle and it gets me to the store, around the house, through shopping malls, on walks with my daughter and grandson, and any place else I wish to go.It replaces my legs which no longer work right.
I have the leg extensions which allows my legs to rest comfortable since I have little movement.I am able to transfer, but that is it.Since, I have to spend so much time in the chair, I had to get a different seat which would accommodate this better.
Without this chair, I would be unable to get around at all.The scooter store helped me get this chair and even dealt with the insurance for me.
The chair is great and so is the company. If you have mobility issues; I suggest that you contact the Scooter Store at http://www.thescooterstore.com and see what they can do for you.

I see a commercial for this all the time. Glad to see you were able to get one.
Sorry to hear about your MS my uncle suffered from ALS so I understand some of what you face with it. I am so glad to hear you were able to get this scooter and that your insurance covered it. I remember all the money thaey had to lay out themselves because there were so many things thier insurance did not cover. Good luck to you.
I see their ads on TV all the time, but who knows what to believe with that, eh? I'm really glad that they actually do what they claim for people, and that you got a chair that works for you.
This is great to know thanks becky188 because soon I`m afraid my husband will no longer be able to walk he has osteoporosis.
I used to have a neighbor that had one of these. It had tons of power and she used it for everything. Great to see someone else getting good use from a great product.
I love their commercials. We have been trying to talk our Mom into getting one.
I hear you on the insurance issue! I was in the midst of getting one approved for me (midst being like a year) when my insurance was going to change... So I ended up purchasing a scooter online at Ebay. I just could not wait anymore. I am really glad that you were able to find a way to get what you need and that it suits you well. Everyone should be able to be mobile.
Sorry to hear about your MS, I am so glad to hear an insurance agency did something right and helped you get this scooter so you can get around.
I'm so glad you found a way to finally get this scooter! I hate how difficult insurance companies make things.
My father-in-law has one of these chairs and it has improved his quaility of life 10 fold.
