Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge By Jan Mayrhofer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Trust me, I'm an expert. I've been doing dishes since I was ten years old. Let's see, that is, well, a LONG time!!! I suppose everyone has their favorite method of doing dishes, but I have never found a tool I like better than the Scotch Brite Scrub Sponge for washing and scrubbing everything from plates to pots and pans. I do have a dishwasher, though, so I use them mostly for casserole dishes and pots and pans. The scrub side of the sponge is gentle enough to use on non stick surfaces, but strong enough to remove tough, baked on food. I just soak a tough job for a few minutes, and then attack it with my trusty scrub sponge to make short work of it. I've been using them for years.

They can go in the dishwasher with the rest of the dishes to sanitize them, or you can throw them in the washing machine along with your dish towels. Once they've been used for awhile in the kitchen, they can be used for dirtier jobs around the house like spot cleaning the carpet, scouring the bathtub and sinks, and anything else that requires a good scrub. They will last and last making them a good investment.

If you need a little extra help in the kitchen with those tough dishes with lasagna baked on, the Scotch Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponge is a good choice.
