Scrabble is a great game to play with the whole family.Scrabble is a game for two to four players.There is a game board and tile pieces with lettters on them.With these letters you are to assemble words.You receive points for doing this.Each letter is assigned a point value.There is a star in the middle of the board and that is where you begin building your words.On the board there are squares that the tiles fit into.On some of these squares you can receive bonuses if your word falls within them.For example, it might say double word score or triple letter score.The more of these you land on the more points you are able to accumulate.One thing that I didn't yet mention is that you have to work off of an existing word.The way to do this is that after the first word is assembled you must use one of the letters from this word to work off of but you can't run into another word.Each player gets seven tiles to start and is able to replenish his seven letters each time he uses letters until all of the tiles are used up.This is a great thinking game.
