This game is great fun. It is wonderful when the kids enjoy a game and they don't even realize that they are playing an educational game. It is a spin off of the classic Scrabble board game but this game is intended for younger children. It is recommended for ages 5 to 10 years old. The children do have to know their letters to play but they don't have to know how to spell. One side of the board, which is intended for younger players, have pictures and words already spelled out on the board. the cildren only need to match their scrabble tiles to the board. This helps give them confidence when learning how to spell. The other side of the board is a blank board. This side is intended for the older child. This board is like regular Scrabble. Once they have mastered the other side of the board they can choose to use the other side of the board for a regular Scrabble game.
