Sculpey Clay By msculit on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My daughter loves moulding little stuff on clay so I make it a point to indulge her on that. I bought her clay previously but she did not like the old one so much because it was sticking on her fingers and she has to roll it on "flour" to keep it off her fingers.
I stumbled upon a site in the net about clay and looked around in our local shops to see if it is available. Good thing it is! The Sculpey brand is very well presented. What attracted both of us initially is the packaging. Its simple layout is catchy enough that you take second glances. What happened was, we already passed by the aisle of the arts and craft section of Magrudy's but had to turn back to check out the colorful packs hanging on the rack. It was the Sculpey brand! The clay itself is not gooey as opposed to ordinary clays. It is non-toxic so any kid can have great fun without scaring the old folks. The best part is the colorful instruction inside that will not leave you scratching your head.
It's a great educational product I will recommend to others. I will keep buying the same stuff again, that is for sure!
Sculpey The Shape and Bake Clay Purchased at: Magrudy's Price: Dhs 29.00

Sculpey is one of those brands that has been around forever, so they've had time to get it right. I remember that I liked this brand too.
Too clever!! I have never heard of this-I've only heard of Playdoh-so I will check this out for my son!
Now this sounds like good clay. Is it easy for kids to shape? Last clay I used I ended up softening it for 20 kids. :)
good one
