Sea Breeze By Dsnygrl By dsnygrl on - Updated Sep 26, 2011

We all know that acne can be caused by many things and effects everyone differently. I have been using the same 2 products on my face for almost 30 years now and I truly believe that they are why my skin in great today. The fact that both are still on the market after all these years also tells me that I am not the only one who thinks so.

Every day I do two things. I wash my face in the morning and use my Buf-Puf and at night I clean away the days dirt and grim with Sea Breeze. Sea Breeze is an astringent cleaner that gets deep down into your pores and gets out all the oil and dirt stuck in there. Many times it is this dirt and oil that causes pimples to form when your pores get clogged. It is also one of the few products that I have tried that works really well to clean out blackheads. You apply it with a cotton ball or a pad. After a few strokes on your face, look at the pad, even if you have just washed your face, I bet you will see traces of dirt and grime on it. Keep rubbing and changing the cotton balls or pads until they are finally clean and dirt free. Since Sea Breeze is an astringent, it also helps the pores to tighten and close up so that less dirt and oil can get into them and helps prevent future break outs.

Sea Breeze does have a strong smell and can be a turn off for some people. I have used it on pimples and if the skin is broken, it can sting but really does help to dry them up quickly. It tingles when you apply it and leaves your skin feeling clean and refreshed. It also works great to take the sting out of bug bites.

I remember Sea Breeze from when I was a teenager. My husband also used it on his back to help prevent sweat from clogging his pores and causing pimples to form when we lived in Texas. I rubbed it all over his back every day during the summer and it really helped a lot.

I used the product as a teen. It does the main thing a cleanser should do to kept your skin free of breakouts - kills the bacteria! I remember the scent as being kinda of medicinal, but that did not stop me from using it!
