I stayed here with my five year old son back in 2003. We traveled with my parents. We decided to stay at the Sea Mist Ocean Front Resort because it was one of the only nice looking ones that allowed dogs. This resort does have several buildings and cottages to choose from. Some of the buildings are oceanfront, oceanview and others of across the street. There are several different restaurants on property to choose from. The resort also has several different indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis located at varies places on property. The Sea Mist Resort is also home to the largest resort water park in Myrtle Beach. They have a huge arcade area, miniature golf course and a fitness center.

When I stayed I had an ocean front room with a small kitchen. The room that I had was nice and roomy. The only negative thing that I found with my room is there was no carpet, the floor was linoleum. I had to wear socks all the time because the floor was so dirty.

If you have kids of any age this is a great place to stay. There are a lot of things that the kids can do.
