Sebamed pH 5.5 Works Wonders

I've been using the Sebamed pH 5.5 products for a month and am very pleased with the results.I found this product at Costco where they were doing a promotion of many of the products contained in this pH 5.5 line from Sebamed.

I was immediately drawn to the hand and nail balm as I think this shows my age more than my face. It went on so smoothly, made my skin feel like velvet and the scent was very light and refreshing.The sales representative told me all the of Sebamed products are soap-free and pH balanced to perfectly go with sensitive skin, hence the pH 5.5 logo which is exaclty the pH of healthy skin.She said this is essential in keeping your skin's natural barrier against environmental damage which can lead to premature aging of your skin.I particularly liked that all the products are ultra-mild for sensitive skin (that had my name written all over it!).

I was skeptical at first but my daughter was with me and she liked the moisturizing body lotion and shampoo.We could pick any 4 of the 7 products offered for $29.99 so we each decided to pick two and our items were nicely wrapped into a gift package for us.

The products we had to choose from in the Sebamed pH 5.5 line were:

CLEANSING BAR - ultra mild moisturizing complex of vitamins, lecithin and amino acids for healthier, smoother skin.

LIQUID FACE & BODY WASH - gently deep-cleans pores without causing dryness or irritation as regular soap can.It is fortified with natural vitamins and soothing allantoin.

MOISTURIZING BODY LOTION (one of our picks) - non-irritating formula for most sentive skins.I find this lotion is quickly absorbed, not greasy and has a nice light scent.It is enriched with chamomile extract and allantoin for a youthful and healthy look when used regularly.

MOISTURIZING CREAM (one of our picks) - this is a rich moisturizer, also not greasy and absorbed into my skin very quickly.I hydrates the skin and has vitamin E which is great for premature aging.

HAND & NAIL BALM (one of our picks) - this is the sample that prompted my purchase of these products.It is a very deep moisturizing lotion and goes on so smoothly and has a very nice light scent.It has been a great lotion for my dry skin, it's not greasy, and is enriched with allantoin, vitamin B5, and keratin.

CLEANSING SHOWER OIL - this a a soap-free gel which doesn't cause dryness like regular soap can.it contains avocado oil and moisturizes as it cleans your skin.

EVERYDAY SHAMPOO (one of our picks) - this is a botanically based shampoo that protects the balance of your hair and scalp.I use this every couple of shampoos to make it last longer even thought it's made to use every day.It works well but I can't really tell if it is better than my regular shampoo.

Overall I am very pleased with the Sebamed products and I would purchase them again.This was a test program to see if it will be carried by Costco on a regular basis.All the products are made In Germany and is distributed by Physician Laboratories.

For those of you with babies who are particular as to what products you use there is a baby Sebamed line which consists of a baby cleansing bar, baby body wash, baby children's shampoo, baby lotion, baby diaper rash cream, baby cream and baby cleansing wipes.
