Designed by Linden Research Inc, This program, (game), allows the user to live a second life, and not feel too guilty about it.
My wife first introduced this game to me a few days ago.I'm not a big gamer per se, but decided to check it out.To my surprise, the graphics in this game are phenomenal.The speed, the interaction, certainly much more than I expected.
In Second Life, you're able to buy clothes, buy land, have a job, or be an employer.Pretty much anything you can do in REAL life, you can do in Second Life.There are even ADULT themed areas in this fictional world.However, to access those areas, there is a very thorough age verification process.
One of the best things about Second Life is: It's FREE!A free download, free install, free everything.Like most games, there is of course the option to pay.I haven't used that option yet, but I can assure you I will shortly.
All in all, this program is certainly one of the better games I've played.I highly recommend checking it out.If for nothing else, but to see what others do in their second lives.

It's a pretty interesting game. It didn't hold my attention long and I wasn't crazy about the graphics - especially after playing The Sims games. My sister-in-law got involved heavily into this game and it DID interfere with her home life. Since you are playing with REAL people in the game, you really need to be careful about who you interact with. Use caution and play smart. And just because a person/character introduces themself to you in the game, it doesn't mean they have good intentions either. It can be a fun game as long as you don't get involved with relationship type actions just because you view it as "a game".
