I received this office table display item as a gift last year from a good officemate. I was new at that time and she was my counterpart in the other department as I do my job at work. It was a small seahorse-shaped clip attached to a small spring then planted to a tiny green pot (I could remember playing Super Mario Bros. whenever I see this pot!). Its main purpose is to hold small notes that my officemates can leave whenever I am away from my work area. Though it rarely happens that people leave me notes (most of the time I am in front of my computer working), what I do is print a small nameplate for my self and clip it with my seahorse clipper. Also, this is a good stress reliever for me every time I find my self on the brink of a deadline. I just tap on one side of the seahorse and it dangles back and forth. Then I start smiling. This is one small table item I won't take off my work area.
