Warsong is a turned based medieval strategy game for Sega Genesis. You play the Prince of Baltia, help him escape from a besieged castle to call for the other kingdoms for reinforcements. You play several other characters as well. Each character can lead several troops. When you win, you are rewarded with gold points that you can spend to buy troops for each mission.

The characters evolve and level up, and for each character, you can select different character types. Each character type will lead to another character type, until the final ultimate character type for the path you chose.

It's very interesting to play, despite being a turn based strategy, because it requires careful analysis and weighing of the situation.
