The Seiko Coutura Watch was given to me by my husband last Christmas. I had needed a watch for quite some time and he picked out an excellent watch for me.

The dial of this watch is Mother-of-Pearl. It is light pink, which is my favorite color. It has a cabochon crown and crystal sapphire. The band of the watch is stainless steel and very durable. Links can be removed to decrease the size of the circumference band. I had a link removed and the quality of the band was not affected. The latch of the band has 2 small tabs that must be pushed in. I have never had this watch come unlatched.

This watch also has the date on it. When there are less than 31 days in a month, I have to move the date forward on the first of the next month, but I don't mind. Since I no longer work outside the home, I tend to forget the date some times! This Seiko watch is water resistant to 100 meters. I have not taken the watch that deep, but I have worn it on our outing to a water park.

This is a very nice watch. I am very happy to have received it as a gift.
