This CD was bought for my husband who wanted helping to quit drinking. It is exactly what it says in the title Self-Hypnosis. This program needs to be used for 30 days twice a day before it becomes effective. The CD is divided into two parts. Subliminal tracks (day time) and Self-Hypnosis (night time). The music used on these CDs are specialy composed to increase receptiveness to the hidden messages with in the music. For example...to the human ear you might only hear the sound of relaxing crashing waves one the CD. But, your subconcious really hears the "healing" messages hidden with in. We found this on Potentials Unlimited.com. They not only offer their self help products in the form of a CD but in MP3, Cassetts, Videos and DVDS as well. There is also a wide variety of categories to choose from such as...Abuse, Bed wetting, quitting smoking, quitting drugs and over 65 other categories. For my husband who has been a struggling alcoholic for many years and been through treatment for it this has really made a big differnce for him. You always hear of hypnosis being an effective form of treatment for all sorts of problems. I truly think that these CDS are worth it.
