Semi Off Roads Perfect For Casual Riders By ohthethinksyouwillthink on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This summer my husband and I decided to take bike rides in the evenings for exercise and together-time. We both owned good bikes sitting untouched in the corners of our respective parents' sheds, so we arranged to get them. When they arrived, we realized that my husband's bike needed a bit of TLC, including a new set of tires. We ended up getting these on the suggestion of the bike repair shop owner.

These tires are semi-off-road. They have the wide, mountain-bike-style treads on the outside edges, and thinner road-bike treads in the center of the tire. These have proven to be absolutely perfect for our situation. The road treads are great for going down the streets in our neighborhood, while the off-road edges give the tires the extra grip they need when we travel on the gravel and dirt bike trails throughout the city.

I'm afraid I'm not an expert when it comes to bikes, but I can say that these tires are holding up well, and are just right for what we use them for. I'm sure next time either of us need bike tires, we will be purchasing another set of these.
