Semi Pro semi good, semi bad

This is the latest effort of Will Ferrell, Woody Harellson, and more familiar faces. The movie starts off slow and gets some better, but it is not a movie I will be looking to purchase. It did have some spots that had me laughing out loud, but in most instances it was just a shy grin at best.
The movie is based on Will Ferrell, who plays Jackie Moon, he is not only the owner, but the coach and a player. They are in last place in their league but when a merger is announced, they think they have a chance at being in the NBA.
Can the Flint Michigan Tropics pull it off? With the help of a NBA has been, Monix, who is played by Woody Harellson, they might. Monix is more than happy to come back to Flint to be near to the lost love of his life , Lynn.
The movie does contain adult situation, some offensive language and crude humor, so keep that in mind if you have children in the home. My advice, wait for this to come out on cable TV.
